And we hope that's exactly what you'll do at this year's Living Old Town 2012: Indulge Old Town. From the many great fashion boutiques to the coffee shops, bakeries and confectories, from the home/garden retailers to the designer stationery shops, Old Town has it all.As part of the ongoing LIVING OLD TOWN 2012 event series, July will feature the many unique and charming specialty shops along Wells Street. On Saturday, July 28th, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., enjoy entertaining activities and specials as part of Indulge Old Town.

Indulge Old Town highlights one of the things the neighborhood does best – specialty shopping. Within the boundaries of Old Town, there are dozens of businesses selling truly unique items – from homemade chocolates to exciting spices to custom paper stock. During the event, visitors can check out new items, participate in raffles, drawings and seminars, and get great event-specific discounts on purchases.

As an example, The Spice House has planned a fun “name that spice” challenge for Indulge Old Town: “Indulge customers can come in and try their luck at naming ten mystery spices for a chance to win gift boxes, gift certificates and other prizes,” shared co-owner Patty Erd. “It won’t be easy though…even some of our regular customers miss one or two.”
